We never thought we'd see the return of the cargo skirt, but fashion is notoriously cyclical and if anyone can resuscitate something from the noughties and make it cool again, it's Carhartt. Unlike slightly more controversial comebacks (yes we're looking at pedal pushers), the humble cargo skirt will quickly feel at home amongst more modern parts of your wardrobe. This sky blue one is the perfect colour for Spring/Summer and has a flattering A-line shape and regular fit. Made from a lightweight cotton poplin it is a breezy choice for transitional weather and has functional detailing like an elasticated waistband and two side and back pockets. With a zip and button closure and small slit at the back for ease of movement, it has a lovely shape that allows it to be styled easily. On cooler days we will be pairing this with an oversized leather bomber jacket, a cosy jumper, great socks, and our favourite Adidas trainers.
