Hartford Menswear
In 1979 Yves Chareton, a Frenchman discovering New York, bought old stocks of cotton Oxford and Chambray fabrics from an East Coast manufacturer and made his first collection of vintage inspired shirts. Hartford has since grown to encompass a full men's and women's collection but has remained true to its original inspiration of American wardrobe classics seen through the filter of a European designer.
Sometimes with a collection it feels best not to reinvent the wheel each season. Hartford brings us everyman’s favourite jackets, shirts and knits and we are very much playing to those particular strengths for SS23 with overshirts, Oxfords, chambrays and some key jersey pieces.
