The Project Space at The Hambledon

We are extremely fond of our suppliers and makers at The Hambledon and very keen to showcase our enthusiasm. The Project Space is where we give these trusted friends the time and space. Through the year we offer some of our favourite brands full licence to take over this mezzanine area, a pop-up shop in effect, and present their vision.

Alex Monroe at The Hambledon

Saturday 17 January - Sunday 22 March 2026

We are beyond delighted to welcome the supremely talented Alex Monroe, British jeweller par excellence, to the Project Space, in his first ever shop within a shop; a collaboration in celebration of the jeweller's 40th Anniversary, featuring exclusives, films, treats and prizes.

The Project Space has been transformed into Alex’s potting shed; a place of wonder and inspiration, including real life hazel trees foraged from Suzy’s sister’s farm (Suzy being a key player in Alex’s gorgeous creative team), antique cabinets and garden tools.

The space will play host to all sorts of events over the course of its two month run. Stay tuned.

Past Projects

Soap and Salvation

We were beyond delighted to welcome the iconic antique and interiors shop Soap and Salvation to The Hambledon. Jo and Barrie brought their eclectic, inspirational, and utterly covetable curation of 19th and 20th century antiques to the Project Space, showcasing mid-century furniture, Anatolian textiles, 19th-century rustic wooden pieces, 50s lighting, Brutalist objects, and colourful Eastern European paintings.

Summer 2025

Rixo

We have long been huge fans of Rixo—fans of their beautiful clothes, their carefully curated world, their generous approach to shopkeeping, their love of vintage fashion, and the friendship of founders Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McClusky. So imagine our excitement when we had the opportunity to host a Rixo Shop within a Shop in our Project Space: a chance to showcase the brand, expand our range and share the love.

Spring 2025

Bon Parfumeur

We have been working with the lovely team at Bon Parfumeur for over a decade, since the very beginning of their business. We were mesmerised by their London Fashion Week display of glass flasks and test tubes and utterly seduced by the fragrances. Fast forward to 2024, and we were thrilled to welcome Bon Parfumeur to the Project Space. They took over the space for two months, bringing every one of their perfumes—including the Privés collection—to The Hambledon.

Spring 2024

Falcon Enamelware

Falcon have long been a Hambledon kitchenware favourite, but this Project marked the first time we worked with them to create a standalone shop within a shop, featuring a comprehensive collection of their beautiful pieces. Jenni Bloom of JenniBloom Flowers brought her finest floral magic to the launch, creating installations in both the shop window and the Project Space. After the successful sale of Milli Proust’s book From Seed to Bloom, we invited Milli and her business partner Paris Alma to host a flower arranging workshop in the Project Space, styled using Falcon jugs.

Spring 2023

Daydress x Scribble & Daub

This was something of a coup. The delightful Daydress, known for its beautiful block-print dresses, teamed up with the iconic stationery brand Scribble & Daub to create a stunning capsule collection of fashion and homeware. We were absolutely thrilled to be the exclusive bricks-and-mortar partner for this collaboration. In celebration of the collection, we hosted a fun filled drawing workshop in the Project Space. Inspired by her pen and ink illustrations and some freshly picked garden botanicals, the lovely Caroline Kent of Scribble & Daub was our talented guide.

Spring 2025

YETI

YETI approached us with the idea of hosting a Pop-Up Shop as an exciting way to expand our product offering and engage more directly with The Hambledon community. The Project Space showcased new styles and additional colours, offering a chance to explore a broader range of products in person. As part of the collaboration, we also introduced a special collection of limited-edition engraved tumblers—exclusive collectables designed to celebrate the partnership and offer something special.

Summer 2023

Damson Madder

We were absolutely thrilled to host the Damson Madder x The Hambledon collaboration in our Project Space—marking their very first UK pop-up shop outside of London. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the true essence of the Damson Madder brand in a new setting. To amplify the experience beyond the shop floor, we also collaborated with a talented group of content creators who brought their own style and creativity to the collection, offering online inspiration and helping to bring the story to life across digital platforms.

Summer 2024

Jumper 1234

We were absolutely beyond delighted to work with our old friends at Jumper 1234 on an exclusive collaboration in The Hambledon’s Project Space. The Project provided an opportunity to showcase exclusive Hambledon x Jumper 1234 pieces and to revisit old favourites in brand-new colourways. In honour of the Project and our long-standing friendship with Jane and Denise, we collaborated on an exclusive design made especially for The Hambledon and available only through us. Many other pieces in the space were exclusive to The Hambledon for the duration of the Project and were only available from us or Jumper. The range also included one-of-a-kind pieces customised by textile artist Sarah Ward of Lark & Bower, who hosted a special darning workshop in the Project Space—a practical and inspiring introduction to repairing and customising knitwear.
