Alex Monroe's first collection was in 1987 and now his jewellery is synonymous with a very British sense of style. It is feminine, delicate, nostalgic and quirky, but above all consistently wearable. Alex grew up in the Suffolk countryside, and his love for the natural world and its enchanting beauty and intricacy yet lightness of touch are translated into all of his jewellery, of which every piece is individually designed and handmade in England by Alex and his team.

This statement design features sculptural chard leaves organically curling into the chicest of hoop earrings. With careful curving and layered textures, the Alex Monroe design team were able to capture the dynamic movement of garden growth. As with many of Alex's pieces it takes a moment to discover what they are intended to be and so work well on many design levels.
