We love a proper crafting story and we love a local hero. Oats and Rice founder Shiyi studied textiles at Winchester School of Art, studied kasuri (ikat) weaving at Kawashima Textile School in Kyoto and trained in shifu weaving under a master weaver. This woman has a proper understancing of beautiful making. Oats & Rice, her cashmere accessories brand, was founded in 2015 and uses organic, sustainable cashmere, sourced in Mongolia.

We love the Austen scarf (named for another local hero), the Sailor scarf (for a nautical , the Eclipse hood and the Bucket hat. We love it all!
