We are delighted to welcome Reworked 348 back into the Basement with four new collaborative pieces. Working closely with our friends in Derby, we have developed two new versions of the bestselling Barker shirt and a new version of the Wolfe jacket. New for AW26 is the William jacket, named after the original resident of our Norman Basement.
The Wolfe Jacket is partly based on an existing Reworked idea and named after Dominic. The plan was simple: a lightweight jacket in a clean, contemporary silhouette. Inspired by an old, tried-and-tested piece from Rob’s collection, we used deep navy drywax weatherproof fabric, added a pocket layout from the Reworked 348 archive, and a hidden two-way front zip. The fabric will gain character and become unique over time.
The Barker Shirt is a vintage-inspired piece with a Reworked twist, named after James from our digital team. Designed as a true everyday staple, we used a washed black herringbone twill, updated the collar, reimagined the pocket layout, and added tonal buttons. Ideal as an Autumn/Winter overshirt and transitional spring layer, each piece is garment washed for an exceptional handle and a perfected fit.
Inspired by archival workwear, the Barker is our definitive everyman garment. Cut from the same washed herringbone twill, this navy iteration carries a slightly heavier, more structured handfeel. Featuring our updated collar, reimagined pockets, and tonal buttons, it delivers a versatile, perfectly fitted layer built to bridge Autumn/Winter right through to spring.

Last year, at the Reworked 348 workshop in Derby, Rob sat down to discuss craft, heritage, and our exclusive capsule collection.
What was the catalyst moment that made you think, I’m going to start making menswear?
By my early teens, I was already thinking about what I wore and how I wanted to look. In the mid 1980s aged 16, I started on the government YTS scheme, working in an independent men’s clothing store on Sadlergate in Derby. I knew right then I was working in the industry I loved.
From there, I went on to work for different brands and then worked for many years in denim and cotton mills based in northern Italy.
I’ve spent my entire working life in the clothing and textile industry—but deep down, the dream was always the same: to create a brand and make the clothes I wanted to wear.

I’ve spent many years working with garment makers in the UK and different parts of the world. I’ve always been fascinated by factories and the making process. Sadly, due to globalisation, most of the UK factories I worked with fell by the wayside, but a few survived.
At Reworked 348, we make everything in the UK, using UK-made deadstock / left over fabrics, some of the finest premium materials you’ll find anywhere. Supporting UK makers feels right for us, keeping the skills alive on these shores, the quality is first-class and their depth of knowledge adds so much to the finished product.
All design, development, and sampling happens in our Derby studio. For production, we work with three small independent makers, two in Derby and one in a neighbouring county. They’re old school, highly skilled craftspeople who survived when many others didn’t. We visit them regularly, building strong bonds over time, it feels like they’re a part of Reworked 348.
