Primitive House Farm really is a farm, in Saco, Maine, making soaps from natural ingredients (many sourced from the eponymous farm). Shallow as we are, we love this soap for its delicious fragrance but also for the weird and wonderful Victorian scrapbook illustrations. Mr Carrot? Mrs Cabbage? Mr and Mrs Radish?
