Cavallini's founding in San Francisco in 1989 belies their inspiration which places them more neatly a hundred years earlier. Antique botanical prints, mid century travel guides, Victorian maps and assorted bits of vintage ephemera are the inspiration for perfect puzzles and illustrated tea towels too pretty to use.
