M.A.B.E
Summer 26 might just be their best yet. Expect the perennially adored little tops, the ticking lined block print jackets, the self colour embroidery on strappy vests and the charmingly nostalgic dobby fabric. New for this season we loved the cross stitch motifs, the selvedge frill collars and hits of bold colour. Keep your eyes peeled for the Project Space which is getting a M.A.B.E makeover, just in time for the clocks leaping forward.
M.A.B.E Apparel (Making Apparel Beautiful and Effortless apparently) was an extremely fortuitous find at a sprawling Paris fashion exhibition, which threatened to elicit very little in the way of exciting and new. And then we bumped into the lovely Kirstine and her brand M.A.B.E and the sun shone on our French trip. Working with just two factories in India, with the perfect skills for realising Kirstine and Amanda’s designs, MABE is produced in small quantities from natural fabrics. Airfreight collection drops from India are carefully monitored to reduce carbon footprint.
