Hartford Menswear
Round here, Hartford is a shop-floor favourite. The French label’s consistent approach to Ivy-inspired menswear means its pieces slot easily into any wardrobe. The shirting is solid, the jackets are timeless, and the accessories are understated.
In 1979 Yves Chareton, a Frenchman discovering New York, bought old stocks of cotton Oxford and Chambray fabrics from an East Coast manufacturer and made his first collection of vintage inspired shirts. Hartford has since grown to encompass a full men's and women's collection but has remained true to its original inspiration of American wardrobe classics seen through the filter of a European designer.
