Brand new for AW24, Drake's produces soft tailoring in Italy, traditional knitwear in Scotland, shirts in their own shirt factory in Chard, Somerset, alongside premium jersey and an expansive range of outerwear, accessories and Selvedge denim, all with the brand ethos of ‘Relaxed Elegance.’
This donkey jacket is an interpretation of a classic silhouette. With inspiration from the wool sack coats worn by workers in the 19th century, alongside those eponymous jackets worn by navvies working on donkey engines.
Constructed from Harris Tweed in a classic gun club check, it is finished with genuine horn buttons and features a distinctive reinforced shoulder, alongside patch and flap bellows pockets and adjustable cuffs.
With a broad, stiff collar and a simple, straight shape, it is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
