Dragon Diffusion's handmade woven leather handbags have garnered something of a cult following. Based in Brussels and founded in 1985 by New Zealander Craig Wright, this is a brand inspired by traditional leather craft from around the world: from bamboo weaving in Japan to plant fibre baskets in the South Pacific; from wicker paniers in France to tribal kit bags in Wright's native New Zealand. The bags are handwoven in Chennai in India from naturally vegetable dyed leather and finished with a St Christopher charm, the patron saint of travellers.
