These are the most charming chocolate eggs you will find! A beautifully illustrated box filled with a dozen delicious "Puffin" chocolate eggs, made in France containing mouth-watering buttery salted caramel ganache, with just a touch of fleur de sel in the caramel to intensify the flavour.

Although these may not necessarily be twitcher-accurate, they are inspired by the Chocolate Detective's favourite seabird: the Puffin. Brightly billed purring puffins have a cute, clown-like appearance. They pair up for life and raise just one precious Puffling a year. One of my secret haunts, Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel, takes its name from the Old Norse word for Puffin, and is an important breeding ground for these beautiful rare creatures.
