Homeward Bound Dinner Plate 29cm

Founded by ceramicist and artist Eva Gernandt, By Mutti stems from her deep love and respect for lives lived on the sea and the tradition of old school tattoos. Consequently, each piece is steeped in history, symbolism, and meaning which is reflected in each collection. The Homeward Bound Dinner Plate features a large ship in the center and is a tribute to  the beautiful ships that roamed the seas a hundred and more years ago. A story of longing, trust, hope and love it bears the signature nautical By Mutti aesthetic. Durable and beautiful, each piece is manufactured with high temperature firings and in-glaze motifs. Designed to last, these gorgeous ceramics have become a true collector's item. Combine pieces from this collection for a beautiful table setting, or give it as a lovely gift!

For By Mutti collectors: By Mutti moved their production to Portugal in 2024. While equally as lovely, the blue colour is now paler and will not be an exact match to any original pieces produced in China. Small changes have also been made to the shapes of the products but the art works remain the same.

Please note: small variations can occur within the product line. The blue shade will always stay similar, but variations from collection to collection may occur, as is the nature of the pigment used.
