These delicious eggs are made in France with a delicate hazelnut praline and Ecuadorian origin chocolate. These "bird eggs" are part of the Chocolate Detective Curated Collection and are the same as the salted caramel in the cuckoo which were selected as a Best Buy and given 5 stars in Jeremy Lee’s (Quo Vadis) taste test for the Observer last Easter.
Introduced to Britain by the Romans, the hoarse call of the male Pheasant is loud and explosive and is usually followed by emphatic cackling as he takes to the air. Pheasants stay on the ground by day, roosting in trees over night. A handsome fellow, he has a long slender and tapering tail, and is dressed in the palette of autumn colours.
