British designer Grainne Morton has managed to turn jewellery into an art form. Her pieces are distinctly one of a kind, the sort of jewellery that looks like it might have been passed down over generations yet still has an incredibly contemporary feel. This piece is from Morton's balance drop collection: balanced elements including cast antique fish charms and chalcedony bringing goodwill, balance and harmony. Medium sized yet still lightweight on the ear, they are a true statement piece and will look lovely dressed up or down.

Materials: Ethically sourced 18k gold-plated silver, blue lace agate, cameo, rani chalcedony, topaz, vintage glass and vintage rhinestone.

Fitting: Hook Ear

Length: 45mm

Width: 35mm

Weight: 10g each

Painstakingly crafted, each and every object Grainne places in to her compositions are delicately set by hand in silver… each casing measured, carefully, for a snug fit, soldered, pierced and polished, before placing in the tiny object, and rubbing the metal over to secure.

As most feature elements are natural or vintage each finished item has a unique look and may vary slightly from the image shown.
