Fabric Story: Mohair
Made from the soft wool of the Angora goat (not to be confused with Angora wool), mohair is characterised by its softness, strength and sheen, and as a result is known as 'diamond fibre'. It is also highly resistant to felting (but please don't test this on a hot wash) and takes dye extremely well. Like natural wool, it is water repellant and insulating.
