We’re all about a Falcon pie dish (we love a pie); we’re all about a Falcon square tray (we love a tray bake); we’re all about a Falcon tumbler (we love an orange squash) but who says Falcon’s just for the kitchen. We give our trusty enamelware a house wide refresh.
And we’ve come full circle. We’re back in the kitchen. Arm yourself with flour, sugar, butter and eggs, a Falcon prep set, a two pint measuring jug and a Square Tray and you are good to go. We’ve accessorised our baking supplies (lots of red and white packaging) with the Pillarbox Red colourway on the prep set.
So much bathroom clutter. Such great need of organisation. Use a Serving tray for all your beauty paraphernalia. Available in Classic White or Pigeon Grey, this piece is neutral enough to work with most decors; is a perfect size to sit on most bathroom countertops and keeps everything neatly to hand. And if you have to have a quick tidy up for an estate agent’s viewing or a mother in law visit (not my mother in law, she’s kindness personified), it’s an easy move into the nearest cupboard. Toothbrush and toothpaste can live in the prettiest of tumblers (available in all sorts of colours). And a small tray makes for a soap dish.
I don’t know many people fortunate enough to have a garden room but, for the purposes of this exercise, let’s suppose that we are Martha Stewart playing with floral arrangements in Turkey Hill, CT. The 3 Pint Jug is your very best friend with the flowers: deep enough to accommodate some long stems but not too wide to demand every flower in your border to fill it. It’s also available in a really lovely range of colours so you can match your blooms to your vessel. A Utensil Pot, slightly smaller, works with an outsize posy; and the tumbler for those pesky, short stemmed left overs.
What better way to organise your post than a Falcon loaf tin? Ditch the sourdough starter, and get busy with the correspondence. No word of a lie, the fulfilment team here use the loaf tins to organise the postcards, voucher slips, thank you notes and envelopes in their busy packing office. Keep your house keys and loose change in a Small Tray on the hall table.
Just in case you are intrigued, the location is partly behind the scenes at The Hambledon: featuring a not terribly salubrious kitchen and loo (though more salubrious than usual, owing to the ministrations of the marvellous Angela); and a partially disguised shop floor, reimagined as the interior of a Falcon loving home.
