How to Have a Get Together with the Girls
We’ve all really, really missed our friends. Here’s our guide to making the most of a Girls’ (or what we call Women’s) Get Together.
The Starting Point
We have taken inspiration from our new best friend, Skye McAlpine (she’s not our actual friend, more’s the pity). She looks like she knows how to host a perfect do: relaxed but beautiful; friendly but not too crazy; delicious cooking but not at all show offy. She also seems to know a lot of very interesting people so we are living a little vicariously with this one and imagining a gathering chez McAlpine (probably in London but her Venice apartment does sound quite appealing). We’re probably in the garden (unless we’re in a bubble with our best girlfriends) so let’s think about staying warm (wearing the perfect clothes for the occasion and just staying the right side of cosy inebriation). We’ve got the dress code sorted, handy hints for easy food and cute party favours.
