Welcome to the world of Revolver: a Japanese sportswear product by way of Newquay, Cornwall. This is definitely one for the afficionados. And here's why:
All jersey is knitted on an antique loopwheel machine (and there are only two left in the world).
This machine can only produce 1m of jersey an hour, knitting in a tube meaning no side seams, and knitting very slowly meaning no tension. They won't twist.
The factory, based in Miyazaki since 1926, once made uniforms for the Imperial Palace.
This is heavyweight jersey (260 or 300 gsm). It's built to last.
And, most importantly, the wool yarn, used to suspend the hang tag, comes from a herd of rare organic sheep on Dartmoor. Just so you know.
SS19 collection is now available instore and online.
