Hestra for Women
Martin Magnusson began making gloves for local lumberjacks in the Swedish province of Smaland (yep, the Ikea and Pippi Longstocking Smaland) in 1936. When a ski slope was built nearby and his sons became keen skiers, he diversified and started making ski gloves. Hestra is still a family business, still based in Sweden and is now making gloves for all manner of elite sports pursuits (including being the official outfitter for the Swedish ski team).
At The Hambledon, whilst we’re known for our physical prowess, we are concentrating less on the active wear and more on the sheer beauty, immaculate production and super soft leathers of Hestra’s ‘Collection’ range.
AW19 collection will soon be available instore and online.
